Press Release, News
Kony Solutions, Inc., the leading mobile and multi-channel application development platform provider, today announced support for the newly launched BlackBerry Z10 smartphone, as well as the coming BlackBerry Q10 smartphone.
"With user adoption of mobile devices exploding, it is more important than ever for organizations to deliver an optimized user experience, with applications that run flawlessly on any device," said Sam Lakkundi, Kony's Chief Mobile Officer. "The KonyOne Platform enables companies to target virtually any BlackBerry device as a platform for new apps, to easily port existing apps to BlackBerry 10, and optimize their apps for each new device and user requirement."
"Kony offers enterprise customers the ability to maintain applications across multiple platforms and devices, and we're delighted to work with them to support customers with BlackBerry 10," said Derek Peper, Vice President, Enterprise Partnerships at BlackBerry.
"BlackBerry has given the mobile workforce a lot more to think about when it comes to the features and functionality they demand," Mr. Lakkundi continued. "In today's BYOD-drive mobile market, where BlackBerry was the first enterprise mobility company, the capability of BlackBerry Balance technology is important because it separates personal and business data. This promises to help ease concerns about data security for BYOD, and helps companies empower employees and deliver a Seamless user experience, regardless of the device they use."
The KonyOne Platform leverages Kony's proven technology for designing, deploying and managing mobile applications that run on more than 10,000 mobile devices and seven operating systems. In addition, Kony future-proofs mobile investments by offering a Service Level Agreement (SLA) to support new versions of an existing platform within 30 days of release, and for new devices within 90 days. Kony's platform is backward compatible, ensuring that all applications are fully functional and take advantage of new OS features, regardless of whether customers upgrade their devices.
