Goal Zero Announces New Solar Generator at CES - 150 Watts; 12 Pounds

Goal Zero, the world's largest manufacturer of portable solar products, launched the Goal Zero Yeti 150 Solar Generator and was named an Innovations Award Honoree for original Goal Zero Yeti 1250 today at CES, 2013. The two Yeti solar powered generators offer users a portable power solution without the hassle, noise and ongoing cost of their gas powered counterparts.
The 12 pound, plug-and -play Goal Zero Yeti 150 is ideal for camping or emergency preparedness. The solar generator's 150 watt hour battery can power lights, laptops and more via built-in AC, 12V and USB ports. The Goal Zero Yeti 150 can be fully charged by the sun in 15 hours with the included 15W Bolder 15 Solar Panel.

The award winning Goal Zero Yeti 1250 Solar Generator Kit is designed to backup critical appliances like refrigerators, freezers and home health care equipment. The powerful lead-acid battery features three AC, 12V and USB outlets and is rated for continuous use. The Goal Zero Yeti 1250 can be fully charged in approximately 20 hours with the two included 30W Boulder 30 Solar Panels.
The Yeti 1250 was recently put to the test by teams providing aid to the victims of Super Storm Sandy. Goal Zero was on the ground charging everything from phones to refrigerators, cleaning houses and donated nearly $600,000 in product with its "You Buy One, We Give One" matching campaign.
